Psalm 46:1-3, 10

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed,
And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
Though its waters roar and be troubled,
Though the mountains shake with its swelling.

Be still and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

Japan much in prayers and thoughts, we cannot know or understand. Words seem inadequate and pointless, but perhaps the world needs reminding that we take the care of God for granted in keeping the tides and the seas under such wonderful control so much of the time.
